Jaafer Haidar, Co-founder/CEO
Jaafer founded Sensidea after enjoying a great career with Accenture, working with clients such as Warner Bros., America Online, Bell Canada, TELUS, and other leading media and ICT companies. Jaafer leads Sensidea Strategy and Client Services efforts focused on developing leading web and mobile products, business development, and industry partnerships. He is also an active member of the Interactive Advertising Bureau of Canada and sits on the Emerging Platforms Council, Social Media Committee, and Video Committee. Jaafer holds a B.Sc. of Computer Science from the University of Western Ontario, and when not working can be found playing soccer, hockey, basketball, or boxing trying to be the pro athlete he never became.
Ab Fadel, Co-Founder/CTO
Ab joined Sensidea following a successful run as founder/CTO of Five Paces, an automotive software company acquired by Vital Insights in 2008. Prior to Five Paces, Ab founded Envene Inc., a software development company developing leading web solutions on behalf of agency partners representing leading clients clients in Silicon Valley and across North America. Ab leads Sensidea’s technology research and direction, helping ensure leading edge product development and that clients are provided with value-based technology solutions that will keep them ahead today and scale to meet future demand. Ab attended the University of Western Ontario, and when not working hard he’s living vicariously through Kobe Bryant.
Jason Miller, Software Engineering/UI Phenom
Jason and Javascript are best friends. They will do anything for each other, and that makes for some beautiful web and mobile experiences. With a deep understanding of both front end and back end technology, and how to blend them together to achieve optimal performance and usability, Jason makes sure all the work we do looks, acts, and feels amazing. Jason attended the University of Waterloo and in his spare time develops “easy” stuff like a full-blown all-JS browser-based operating system. Ya, he’s that good.
Imane Mohamed, Software Engineering
Imane is a standout software engineer quietly coding the most scalable, structured, and efficient software you can find. Imane ensures Sensidea’s product development and client development projects are second to none when it comes to architecture, extendability, form, and function. Imane holds a B.Sc.of Computer Science from University of Metz, France, and a Masters of Computer Science from the University of Joseph Fourier in Grenoble, France. Imane is also the resident Sensidea fashionista making the rest of us realize we don’t know how to dress.
Sherif Moursi, Software Engineering
Sherif is has algorithms and data sets living peacefully in his brain. He hasn’t met a problem he can’t solve or steak he can’t eat. He builds well designed and architecturally sound software while providing a great mind to tap when complex tech solutions need an answer. Sherif holds a B.Sc.of Computer Science from Assiut University, and a Masters of Computer Science from the University of Western Ontario, and yet another Masters of Software Engineering from the University of Western Ontario nearing completion. Simply put, we are not as smart as Sherif and that’s the way we like it.
Johnny Del Guercio, Creative
Johnny originated as a fine artist, majoring in lithography and fell in love with the design world. He’s the creative genius behind many of our products and his client list includes Scotia Bank, TD Canada Trust, Honda, Lexus and the London Health Sciences Centre, and others. When he is not designing, he’s brushing up on his illustrative skills or offering his fine art up for auction as part of his passion to make the world a more beautiful place. Johnny finished top of his class as a graduate of Advertising and Graphic Design at Humber College in Toronto, winning various art competitions and design awards in the progress. He believes design should tell a unique story to the intended audience without saying a word. The rest of us just marvel at his skills.
